Cyberpunk 2077, one of the most anticipated games of 2020, will receive an update that improves its ray tracing with the addition of a Ray Tracing: Overdrive setting. At Nvidia’s RTX 40-series event, it was revealed that they had achieved a new mode called DLSS 3 Technology which will automatically improve FPS.
They showed a video in which they compared the with and without modes of FPS. For example, when the DLSS 3 is unavailable, it can only achieve 20FPS when enabled, but it can reach 98 FPS.
Overview-Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour, and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary who can earn experience points by completing tasks and missions. The game’s world is designed to reward exploration and discovery. Players should find hours of enjoyment simply looting enemies and searching for secret stashes of money and items. The game also features non-looter shooter elements such as dialogue trees that give players some control throughout conversations.
NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX cards handle the ray tracing in Cyberpunk 2077. The new Overdrive setting will offer players an even better visual experience while playing the game. The ray tracing will make objects in the game look more realistic and make colors pop more vibrant. The Ray Tracing: Overdrive setting will be available in the game’s next update, which is expected to drop sometime in early 2021.
